my mother works at this school. she is one of the people that will need to be interviewed to keep her job. she dosent want to take redundancy she loves her job. she's been at the school 28 years. I know there doing this due to dwindling numbers at the school but surely there is an anouther way? it's a sad situation.

A wonderful tradition of support for children who really need it. What message does it give local families if these great workers are dismissed?

Moulescoomb Primary is a good school that, like other schools, needs it's support staff to continue impacting positively on all children.

The teaching assistants are such an important part of the kids education. With the increasing workload on teachers, children that need extra support will be left behind. Let's make w sure that every child has a fair start!

It's so short sighted to simply cut staff. We must fight to save our much needed services/staff in Moulsecoomb and Bevendean

This is a disgusting way to treat dedicated staff with a wealth of experience and training, who ultimately make a huge difference to teachers and pupils. Yes there is problems with Hmo and a dip in pupil numbers but this dip is set to pick up again. The challenges of inclusion and SEN children means that having adequate support staff is essential for every child's learning and enables the teacher to do their job more efficiently.

Taking away from the most vulnerable and those with no voice - our children deserve better.

As an academic and believer in education for children’s future I believe the proposed removal of support staff will have serious detrimental effects for the area both now and many years into the future. These children deserve so much better. Right now they have a great staff base and real hope. Let’s not be short sighted and take this away at such an early age

Taking this support away from these children and families is reprehensible . Let's hope the council listen
