I am a retired teacher of Mother Seton School who believed in their Philosophy and aim to serve the catholic and non catholic children of Union City.

It is reprehensible to make this type of decision with less than a month before school is scheduled to begin.

The closing of Mother Seton School must have been planned much in advance of the announcement. The statement above sends a clear message to all who read it, the position taken by the Archdiocese when it comes to Catholic education, it’s families, devoted teachers, students and staff. My prayers are with you and the other schools also closed for the coming school year. Amen

its sad how alot of students are going to lose the school they grew up with and alot empleados are going to be jobless

What does it profit a man to gain the world if he loses his soul?

Please keep the school open! I have younger siblings that need a good Catholic Education. I graduated from this school and it is a great school

Not close the school

I beg you not to close the school in the name of our lord. Our kids have been through too much in this time for them to go through this anymore. We adults understand but how we make our children understand that they lose a great woman as a guide and everything she gave for our children. Please don't close the school
