mag,from a lot of aspects,is victim of the popular hardcore arcade gaming..no space for mind use,inside the game.fast-food killing moves+quick scoping,glitch etc.mag had its issues,but never stopped being a SIMULATION 1st perso shooter.it gave u the wright to think....and the word "THINK" is what sony and the new world order,must kill and target.and they do....

Keep them open i live this game. It is an experince you wont find in ANY other game. Closing the servers would be horrible. The game would be worthless. Its practically robbery we paid for the game so how can you just take it away like that

MAG is the greatest example of what a multiplayer online game can be. Shutting it down is a poor idea. For years the game has shown people what warfare can truly be, ignoring the needs for a story or graphics by being fun and immersive.
A better idea could have would be to add a subscription system to keep it running. As long as it wasn't an outragious price, Sony could sustain MAG and even turn a profit on it again.
Even if Sony wont keep the server's online sell them to another company who IS willing to keep it active. The loss of this game could mean a massive amount of long term damage to the future of the entire first person shooter multiplayer genre.
People are tired of the call of duty clones: cramped stuffed environments that lack the ability to survive or hide in. Your average arena for COD is cramped with 20 or so players on a single city block, filled with splash damage and quick kills based on random chance rather than skill. In contrast MAG has nearly a hundred players in every match, and a talented sniper can make a shot from what feels like a mile away and turn the tide of battle with that one shot.
This game is what is needed. Not grand theft auto, not halo, not metal gear solid, not call of duty. MAG is a game that doesn't need story or graphics to entertain or keep you immersed. It's not fancy, not next gen, and it is the best shooter on the market.

Don't do this to us! Why do you do this Sony? First SOCOM and now MAG?! Wow!! I thought you guys were better than Microsoft. I guess I was mistaken.

Please don´t stop MAG servers, there is no other game like MAG for PlayStaion plataform. If it happens there are a lot of people like me that will simply stop playing games. People that plays online games keep informations running and make busines grow.

Hey Sony i know the choice is pretty obvious, but MAG is still having players play everyday. I know MAG didnt get all of the attention it deserved but thing about the people that love playing it. If you have to add bot support, I will understand but please think more about this decision.
