I personally lost 5 friends on 395 in 2001 after a diesel hit their truck head on and left one family with their only 2 kids gone. Terrible road!!

Perhaps if people simply slowed down and followed laws. Its not that hard of a concept. Screaming down the road is the problem.

My neice lost her wonderful husband on this highway just over a year ago, which he was not at fault. He was a newlywed and new daddy. God bless his soul.

Hwy 395 needs to be 2 lanes in each direction. My brother lost his life on this deadly highway on a head on crash!! How many more life’s have to be lost before anyone or the state, county makes the decision to make 2 lanes in each direction to try and save life’s.

I am one of the people that avoid this road when visiting family...its dangerous and no one seems to want to improve this Terrible road.

This may be just another name to some, this may be just another comment read to others, but that is the name of my husband. The name of my children’s father. The name of a man that was killed due to reckless driving on a road that lacks safety and protection for drivers.
This road is the location of continuous killings, we need to fight to fix this. A divider would’ve saved my husband. Taking measures to make this road safe will save lives.

This road took my Brother, Timothy Ellis’ life in March 20, 2018 due to another driver who illegally was passing and crossing a double yellow line on a blind hill and speeding. A concrete median and widening Road 395 could have saved his life.
