Save Lives On 395

On a trip this year (we have done many trips on this stretch since 1984) a Semi Truck passed in the no passing - seemed like it took over a minute. Then a Camero. I reported the Semi trailer’s plate to the CHP. Lots more people doing this since they completed the “safety” widening and removed the passing lane on the hill south of Kramer JCT. people are idiots but I really don’t want to get taken out by one of them. Greater CHP enforcement would help too. The truck used increased dramatically over 20 years ago, but the safety improvements didn’t until a few years ago and, by widening and not adding additional lanes, it has actually made it worse! K rail should be added for the entire length between Adelanto and Kramer JCT

Please do something about this road. Cal trans and the state of California, how much more blood do you need on your hands, before you step up and fix 395 #DeathTrap

Just make it 4 lane!

Please widen the road

They are always working on the 14 and seemed to forget that part of 395. I wont go that way anymore.

Too many lives has been lost in this highway.

With the amount OS lives both at have been lost on 395. Something really needs to be done. The Truck traffic is herindeous

I frequently go to Owens Valley and Lake Tahoe for vacation and occasionally for work. I drive an additional 30 miles in traffic on Hwy 14 to avoid 395 between Adelanto and Inyokern. That section is very unsafe.

Drive this road often, both as a CDL and passenger car driver...it is very dangerous and should be upgraded to handle the volume of traffic.

Fix the highway before there are anymore deaths!!!

Always hate that portion of 395. Agree need a barrier where it is impossible to pass safely and more passing lanes.

I drove this road home to Bishop and hate it.

We need more passing lanes

Fix it. I drive that for camping with my family and there are way too many wrecks.

We want more lanes each way on 395

Gas tax keeps going up ,more taxes for transportation, yet 395 is neglected for decades. Far too many senseless deaths and injuries on this highway, we need to get all the work done to finally complete four lanes from Mojave to Bishop.

I drive this road from LA to Mammoth 12-15 times a year. Please make it safer.

Widen the road!

I travel this road 2 to 3 times a year and I must say it is a dangerous road.

They need more lanes so badly. Every time we drive 395 are so careful and so many people pass when they are not supposed to. You put your life in your hands every time you get on 395!!!
