It’s baffled me how Hwy 14 is almost completely 4 lanes from LA to Mammoth now and Hwy 395 remains 2 lane with a few passing lanes added. Deadly, ignorant, and irresponsible of our lawmakers.

We live in Tehachapi and we drive to Riverside 2 times a month to visit family. We used to always drive down 395 and have had close calls with cars and once even a semi passing trucks almost hitting us head was n. It’s longer but we now drive Hwy 58 to the 15. It’s safer and not bad with the freeway finished past Hinkley almost to Kramer Junction. We avoid 395 at all cost.

I’ve had too many friends from my small town of Ridgrcrest, California either killed, hurt or witness a near miss. Where are our gas tax dollars being spent Governor Brown?!

I grew up in Ridgecrest and went to San Bernardino College in the mid 1970’s ... it was scary a few times back then and has increased with the many truckers on the road. Thank you for the video clip.

I moved to California from Fort Worth, Texas a year ago for my job but the housing was too expensive in Palmdale and not knowing this US 395 and El Mirage we're known for bloody head on collisions, I was stuck here for a year's lease. I am so stressed from
my drive to work daily and so blessed each time I arrive alive! I'm leaving California next month. I can't believe California has no value for life. The roads are horrible and the state doesn't care enough to patrol and impose stiff enough penalties to wake up these suicidal drivers. I don't wish to die at their hands so I pray that this petition wakes somebody up! A single life should be worth more than this!

There should be 4 lines so there is a truck lane
