This highway is extremely dangerous. My boyfriend and I have driven this highway from four-corners into Victorville on a regular basis to see family. There have been several times where drivers attempt to pass on a double yellow line and almost end up in a wreck and involving us in it.
I’m extremely shocked we don’t have additional lanes on this freeway. How many more deaths do we need?

I thing 395 is very dangerous. I have seen people run a red light at 395 and Chamberlain more than once. I refuse to travel on 395 for more than two stop lights. I hope it can be monitored somehow.

I have lived in ridgecrest most of my life and drive this highway alot. Some people are just blind to see that really can hurt someone not to mention against the law

Also I moved many years ago, I still go home to see my family in Hesperia and R/C!! I absolutely HATE driving 395!

Get some needed inforcement on these roads in Ca. 395 and 138 are extremely dangerous and deadly. Lower the speed limits like they use to. Make weeckless fines higher!

I drive this road regularly for over 20 years. It has only gotten worse with increased use. Please, do something BEFORE any more people die.

That road truly is dangerous my very first time driving it i had to slow down and drive off the road alittle to avoid some idiot hitting me head on when they were trying to psss 10 vehicles and couldn't get back over in time

The highway was one of the top 10 dangerous highways in Readers Digest several years ago. It was listed as Death Trap Highway. People are crazy through there.

Yes people are out of control I almost got hit myself . I had my kids too a cop happen to be on the same side the car barley made it before hitting up . He went after him too

395 is a death trap. If I need to go to California City, I take 15N to the 58. Only 6 minutes longer, but I am not risking my life.

Thank you for doing this I live in Adelanto and I see so many accidents in 395 I'm afraid for my family we have to Drive in 395 everyday.
