The work being done at the 395/14 junction is using funds that can be better used to make sections on 395 into 4 lanes.

I have to drive this every week for the next four months. I’m actually terrified because I’m always seeing people crossing the double yellow lines heading to oncoming traffic. I’ve even seen some very close calls. Please fix this so we don’t keep losing loved ones.

Another issue I have with this road is that many legal passing zones are still unsafe for smaller cars to pass within due to dips in the road. People unfamiliar with the road may unknowingly trust a passing zone to have a safe line of sight. Cnversely, there is at least one extremely safe area to pass in that has a double yellow line, despite the line of sight being at least 5 miles (a few miles north of Kramer junction). The passing zones should be reevaluated for the entire stretch between Hesperia and Inyokern.

Please widen/add extra lanes on highway 395 to stop the numerous deaths that have occurred (14 so far this year in an 80 mile stretch of the road. This needs to be a top priority and needs to be started immediately.

Highway is not only the major north -south highway, it is the only major highway. It should be 4 lane divided.

Rumble strips won’t work on those people determined to pass on double yellow lines because they are fed up with being stuck behind trucks. They make the unsafe choice because there are no passing areas for many miles. They cause accidents. Please California let’s do what will make 395 safe and put in two lanes both directions all the way on 395.

We have lost 14 lives due to 395 accident since Jan first 2018. We need at least road dividers on double yellow lines so idiots cannot pass. SAVE LIVES!!!

If something can be done to fix this or make it less dangerous I don't understand why there is any hesitation.

Too many people dying and no help from highest taxed state in America! Absolutely unacceptable! Must expand highway to four lanes!
