Save Linda Carty - British grandmother facing execution in Texas

I don't understand how anyone can be satisfied by the execution of this woman. Anyone waiting for this to happen should pray hard for their own forgiveness!! A candle does not burn brighter simply by blowing another one out!!

Clearly a wrongful conviction !!

I believe Linda is innocent & is definitely not a threat to society. I don't believe she should be on death row. Please give her life back & right an injustice that she has endured.

From what i have seen this women deserves a re-trial and not the death penalty.

From NZ I was completely unaware of this womans situation until I watched a documentary tonight...I fully support her plea for reprieve and hope many many many more do the same

This woman is victim of the legal system.

I am apalled that this womans trial hasn't been thrown out of court and she is still in the laws eyes 'guilty'. Justice has not been followed in the judgement of Lindy Carty. Please, push your pride aside and help this woman be judged correctly and with Justice for all involved.

At the very minimum a retrial is needed in this case and her defence lawyer should be jailed.

after watching channel 4's documentary on this remarkable story, I am saddened that in this day and age things like this are allowed to continue.

Linda Carty deserves a retrial so that the truth may finally be heard.

Linda Carty MUST be awarded a retrial. Her Defence lawyer was non existent and it appears that she was set up -simply because she informed against drug criminals who made sure she was made to pay for a crime they committed. The British Govt. need to protect their citizens. 11 years on death row for a questionable conviction is not sound justice.

I came across the documentary on 4od while researching for my criminology course. I knew nothing of Linda and find it appalling how the British government has not stepped in to help her. A life for a life does not help the bereaved family, if anything it makes matters worse for Linda's family, why take the life away from two families in revenge for one. I do not know if she is innocent but to make another family suffer is unjust. At worse she should have a life sentence, but if her case was looked at properly the circumstances of her life show that is unfortunately went through hard times and should not be punished for that. I hope something is done soon for the sake of her family and her own sanity.
