Save Linda Carty - British grandmother facing execution in Texas

I am a British citizen and think that this is barbaric that Linda should be on death row... I am signing this petition in absolute discust and embarrassment for how you have failed this woman.

Please grant her a retrial and allow this woman to live

I wish to express my horror at the manner in which Linda Carty's trial was conducted and her subsequent death sentence. Shame on Texas for allowing this travesty to continue. Allow a Retrial of her case or at the very least, her mitigating circumstances demand a downgrade of her sentence while her supporters continue their fight to clear her name. DO NOT TAKE HER LIFE!!!!

Please spare Linda carty. The death penalty should only apply to cases that there is no doubt of guilt. In this case it is evident there is much doubt. Please spare this poor woman's life

There are to many reason to have this women have the death penalty • So many mistakes.I have always believed in the death penalty but only when there is no question to person and crime . This is not right. There are to many mistakes. This is wrong . The list goes on Failure to spot obvious flaws and inconsistencies in the prosecution case; • Failure to spend more than 15 minutes with Linda before the trial; • Failure to investigate key mitigating evidence; • Failure to inform Linda, a British citizen, of her right to consular assistance; and • Failure to inform Linda’s husband of his right not to testify against his wife; This woman could be innocent. Give her a fair trial, something she appears not to have had to date.

Please do the right thing, DO NOT EXECUTE LINDA CARTY, SHE IS INNOCENT.

When sentencing any one it is beyond any doubt. This cannot be said in this case. Stop playing god and taking lives by execution. That makes them worse than murderers.

No one deserves to die, whether she did the crime or not

This poor lady has not been treated fairly by the justice system in Texas. The death penalty should be abolished.

What a sad story - this lady does not deserve the death penalty

Sounds like this needs a retrial.
