I watched the show on ID. Death Row. I could tell by just listening to her that she is innocent! Please investigate this further. The man behind bars as well said I should have killed Linda. I bet when you found out she was working under cover. Linda is receiving a raw deal. May God have Mercy on her soul.

Governor, Do the Right thing for all the dead inmates who were NOT guilty. I don't know who that may be over the years and neither do you.

I watched this documentary on channel 4 and I hope I'm not too late. I will do my best to get others to sign this petition. Linda does NOT deserve this!! Wish you the best of luck!! Kind regards from England :)

Wholly unjust and wrong - retrial at least is justified. Highly questionable judicial process!

Watched the documentary and there seems to be significant doubts over the guilt, so much so that not only is the death penalty wrong but even guilt is highly contestable. If this went the full term to the death penalty being carried out it will be seen in future as a shameful act of injustice. Surely an host retrial is the least that should be provided with proper defence?

How anyone can think she deserves the death penalty after the atrocious court proceedings and defence aid she was given, is beyond me!

Why on earth are the British Government not stepping in on this! We should be taking legal action against this unfair and inhumane decision to spare her life for something she could well not have been apart of! I can not - CAN NOT - stand the justice system in many ways. Until PROVEN guilty - only then can action take place. This case was based on small pieces of evidence such as Linda's possessions being used within the murder YET this could have all easily been a convenience for the actual suspect who committed this crime two doors down from Linda herself! Now why on earth would she commit such a crime so close to her own apartment with a small daughter of her own? It makes no sense!!!

I am signing this petition from Luton in the United Kingdom to show my support in SAVING Linda Carty's life which, what appears to be a line of unfortunate events leading her into this situation whereby the law feels it right to take a persons life without CCTV footage or other witnesses to this crime! Only the most high can give and take a life no matter the circumstance so to be on Deaths Row and being a British Citizen, Texas should have NO RIGHT to take her life! I will be setting up a campaign in London Trafalgar Square for her life to be spared until she gets the outcome she deserves.

Linda deserves a retrial on the basis of an unfair trial and catastrophic errors on the part of her court appointed attorney.

Justice I hope will prevale before before beautiful Linda's time runs out, and should it not, even if we never clear her name, all that know her, and many of us can clearly see that her whole case was a joke, and money is what you need for justice, the poor can only find comfort that they are innocent and to except their fate with dignity and courage as Linda Carty does with such Amazing Grace. xXx All my love goes out to her and all her family xXx Elli I know how you feel

This appears to be a tragic case and I hope justice is done for Linda. I thought that guilt had to be proven beyond doubt? Her defence let her down massively and the fact that those who admitted guilt avoided the death penalty for blaming Linda (who is now on death row) is absurd.

I think Linda should be exonerated. She is clearly innocent and should be released.
