Because of uncertain economic times and a reduction of revenues coming in to the state, Utah is considering across the board budget cuts. IT IS THE PROPER ROLE OF GOVERNMENT to secure for its citizens their rights of life, liberty and property and law enforcement is the mechanism for ensuring that security.
