The lake has many users that all have an interest in being there. The runway would have huge impacts on all the lake’s recreational users

I do not appreciate any company having the ability to own/control a public resource. I sympathize with the need to land airplanes in the lake. It does seem that, I’m the busy times of the year, it can be very difficult. However, we all have access to this resource. I’m in favor of providing a landing strip that lights up when a flight is landing. But I am not in favor of a dedicated landing strip that would require public resources to enforce and would block regular traversal of the lake.

It’s only a matter of time before Kenmore Air hurts or kills someone. The time for landing seaplanes on one of the busiest body’s of water in WA is over. You don’t destroy a public water way because they are creating a problem

Can Boeing land a plane on Kenmore air? It makes more sense of a way to deal with crowed lake Union than giving them a private section of a public lake

Kenmore air is attempting to land in a highly used public water way in a major city. Time for these guys to get with the times and realize this just isn’t the place to land airplanes anymore. Move to your other facility

Seattle is a growing city. All people use Lake Union. Kenmore Air is already a problem on the lake, they can’t be allowed to create a private lake because they are the problem already

Kenmore air is already one of the worst users of lake Union as it is. They are dangerous, rude, and solely focused on their profits running sightseeing tours over Seattle. They need to be banned from lake landings already not give private access!
