Any proposal by a private business to remove public access to what is essentially a public park and resource should be disallowed. It benefits only the company but not the rest of us. Any such proposal should at the very least have public hearings and environmental impact statement required, etc. But any "runway" in Lake Union should be barred in my opinion. The lake should absolutely not be cordoned off or otherwise access-restricted from public use. No runway! (Or anything like it.)

The waters are owned by the public kenmore knows that when the set up shop. They need to comply with the Coast guard laws

Don’t let a private corporation take our public resource. This is like if you let helicopters land in gas works. Keep Lake Union open to sailing, especially the 40+ year tradition of Duck Dodge!

I'm against any plan that takes away publicly available waters for the benefit of the few.
The way the lake is currently used makes perfect sense for everyone.
