I currently live two blocks from Lake Union and would likely move if this was passed, especially as I work night shift and need to be able to sleep during the day in my home. I’d be so disappointed.

There are plenty of seaplanes. We don’t need more taxis for the wealthy at the expense of everybody else.

I oppose this takeover of a large portion of the lake dedicated to a commercial purpose that does not benefit our community as a whole or protect this precious natural resource.

The exhaust from the planes is bad enough with the current volume. To increase that volume is absurd. And while it’s cool to watch the planes take off and land, doubling that volume reduces the novelty of it all and then to hinder the Boaters, kayakers, paddle boarding and overall water experience Only to line the pockets of a private company is abhorrent and embarrassing to those of us who enjoy the lake and care about reducing noise and air pollution. The planes are fricking LOUD and they STINK. This is a jackass proposal and needs to be struck down ASAP. THANKS.

Lake Union is a unique public asset. How many other major cities have a recreational water park in the middle? Any attempt by any business to effectively take over a significant public asset is beyond ludicrous. I'm shocked that the discussion has gotten this far.

This plan will affect all the many users of Lake Union, nearby residents, and the many, many people who frequent the area for various events, including sailing on the lake. Public hearings on the proposal are absolutely warranted.

I'm a sailor, a kayaker, and I have a deep appreciation of the birds and sealife of Lake Union. We need to see an EIS and have a public discussion regarding appropriate usage. How does a private company get to take over the lake? This makes no sense to me.

This makes no sense unless it is part of a plan for the entire lake
