$15M better spent on updating the roof until the developer found to fix the rest, and convert to housing etc.
These buildings mean more to me than an average person might think. I gets my thinking, it brings me peace it makes me want to learn about history, they inspired me to become a photographer, and to become better in school so I can become a psychologist. If these buildings are ripped from there foundation, kings park as a town will have no foundation. The institution makes the park one of my favorite parks in the United States, and im so fortunate that it is so close to home. Use that money that will be used to rip peoples hearts out and putting towards education and keeping the park beautiful, hey i would even volunteer. YES to this. stop wasting our tax dollars on destruction and use it to save something worth keeping.
Growing up here these buildings were always the backdrop of my life. Please dont destroy the history of our town just to make a flat empty field.
15 million to knock them down is a total joke when the roads are falling apart. leave them be.

This building really needs to be preserved and brought back to its former glory for all and everyone to understand and experience history firsthand in the struggles that us Mental Health people had to go through to get to where we are today
