do not build a golf course here PLEASE this city needs this park I've been here my entire 40 years and new development is needed just not to replace !!

I have serious concerns for safety: for people, the orchard and its animals and property, with the heavy usage by disc golfers and an increased probability of fire. I'm concerned that with heavy and constant usage by disc golfers that plants and animals will be killed off. I've been lucky enough to have seen wild turkeys, foxes, a coyote, raccoons, skunks, opossums, field mice, and a wide variety of birds in the orchard. This is a birding "hot spot," where birds can be seed that are not seen outside of this orchard.

please do not destroy one of the last remaining wild spaces in San Jose by allowing any development in Kelley Park Orchard.

I would be much happier with a disc golf course at Kelly Park than the current homeless encampments that spring up there on a regular basis.
A Disc Golf course would bring low cost recreation to the neighborhood and ensure the area is clean, safe well maintained.

There have not been issues with homeless the past year. Activity in the orchard during the day will not keep people from sleeping along the creek banks at night. The homeless have never lived in the orchard itself but along the creek. The damage caused by the discs to the trees and trampling the undergrowth is far too great a price for what little value a course would add to this area. Did you know that 52 residents of the adjoining neighborhood are against the disc golf? So I guess they do not agree with someone who does not even live in the area and is on the board of directors for the Silicon Valley Disc Golf Club. Seems your opinion is a bit self serving.
