We're trying to gauge support for some options to allow to Save Kindergarten at Cipriani. There's a bias in the survey for 60 K's but other questions are asked to determine the level of interest in others. If you have any questions please contact Barry Rowland cell (415) 812-6620. = = = 60 Kindergartners The question below refers to a scenario LIKE where 2 additional rooms come from the staff room and library and the library moves to carts in the multi use room. AND it assumes the TEACHERS support this or a similar scenario. We further assume it would stress the school somewhat and may require fundraising of the order of $10k for carts and/or remodeling plus volunteers to help alleviate stress like to setup the carts for the library and put back away. BTW1 one of the rooms is "released" back in 2015/16 when the 80 from 2009/10 moves through. BTW2 it assumes 2 am/pm K's and one am or pm. = = = 80 Kindergartners The question below assumes a scenario where the intake for 2010/11 could be 80 again so we need the 2 rooms like the 60 K's scenario. BUT each year we'd need one more - ultimately 6 more than today in 2014/15. So we presume for during 2010/11 fundraising, bond etc would be needed for construction &/or portables to accomodate. = = = 80 Kindergartners by relocation 4th&5th Its assumed 2010/11 could be like the 60 model (ie need 2 more rooms than today) & then move 4th & 5th for 2011/12 - OR - 4th & 5th could be relocated for 2010/11. 4th and 5th today has 4 rooms so freeing those up enables 80 kids in each year K - 3 with the EXISTING 15 rooms. - - - on all of these its just a rough concept. The teachers, school, board may see it very differently in terms of the scenarios and how they'd be implemented.
