My grandad Jock has lived in Blair Atholl for 40+plus years. When they moved to Blair he asked permission to have the land - very small. Nobody had a problem and the so called owners allowed him to keep it as long as he kept it nice and tidy. As the years went on, the more and more plants he introduced. When we were younger we played in that part of land, as did my mum, aunt and uncle. We have bbqs picnics and mini get togethers out there. Jock built a cabin that my sister and I played in and it is still standing. Every year, at Christmas, Jock decorates the whole area with thousands of pounds worth of lights. Jock even took donations for an animal sanctuary, when people dropped pennies in the burn from the bridge. This garden had been appreciated by visitors, travellers and even neighbours. Nobody had a problem with it. Until now. A few weeks back the rightful owner makes a stink and claims he is the owner. After confirming, the rightful owner wants it back. For all the land it is. It is about 1.5metres wide by 30metres long. I know right - ridiculous. Jock is gutted. This is his pride and joy. I've never seen a more hard working man at his garden. He is retired. LET HIM KEEP HIS GARDEN.
