Jax sounds like a really good dog and I believe he deserves a second chance!

This was an unfortunate event and I’m so glad to hear the small dog is ok. Dogs can get into scuffles and Jax is not a threat to human life! The owners have done everything to keep this situation from reoccurring. Jax should LIVE!

Jax should not die over this accidental scuffle! It even sounds like the little dog had been aggressive to Jax! Jax should be returned to his family, period.

This is totally unacceptable, accidents happen, I have worked in the veterinary field for years and have had dogs and taken in rescues and unfortunately these incidents happen. If you have never had this happen to you, then you have never tried to keep two or more dogs together!

Let Jax live. If Jax is a vicious dog, he would have a history of such attacks. How will the court show that Jax is vicious since this is incident appears to be documented as a first encounter of this type. The information supplied does not seem to stipulate that. Both sets of owners try to work out a plan for a difficult situation, it did not work unfortunately. My dogs have been attacked by my neighbors dogs who are permitted to run free in a condo complex and these dogs are extremely vicious--police have documentation of four different attacks but won't pursue citing these folks because I and other neighbors did not have photographs. I pray that Jax will be saved and him and his family can move on.

Dogs fight. Small dogs usually are just as culpable. This dog does not deserve to die. Let him go home to his family.

There can be many things that can cause these things to happen. The little dog could be just as responsible for what happened.

Do not euthanize a family dog over a dog fight. The small dog is just as much at fault. Dogs fight, especially with boundaries like fences between them. It does not make him aggressive.

Dogs have emotions and feelings, it’s a very sad situation, but things happen. We’ve got people that have raped and killed children, but they’re still here on this earth alive?
