I support the underwater research being conducted by Hanalei marine biologist, Terry Lilley, regarding the coral reefs that are dying on the North Shore of Kauai. I urge the State of Hawaii’s Department of Natural Resources and Department of Aquatic Research, the County of Kauai, and the US Environmental Protection Agency, the US Army Corps of Engineers, US National Ocean Atmospheric Administration, and US Fish and Wildlife Service to fully support Terry Lilley’s research efforts, financially and with manpower, to try to save the coral reefs on the North Shore of Kauai.
