Fletch is the most genuine horse you could hope to meet, he would do anything you asked of him, even though he was a big scaredy cat. For 6 years Fletch was overfeed and cooped up for 20 hours a day, piling on the weight, and this has caused fluid to build up on his hocks, because of this Fletch is now unable to work in a school, he can now only hack out and needs 24 hour turn out. But his 'caring' owner has feebly given up on him straight and is unwilling to pay for him. At some time in the next few weeks Fletch is going to be effectively murdered. she has refused our offer of help to move Fletch to a horse retirement centre, where we would then end up covering his bills at a great expense to us, because we love him. Fletch has done everything she has asked of him, and now he can no longer earn his keep, and she cant make money off of him, she is going to wash her hands of him. Fletch is only 15 years old. This petition is to show her, she is wrong and that Fletch doesnt need putting down, when we can offer him the life he deserves..
