The Fonda Community School, one of the most beautiful and historic buildings in Northwest Iowa is in danger of being demolished.  A group of concerned citizens want to save the building and repurpose it into The Fonda Community Center, which will house an events center, a fitness center, a rec center, an education center, and more.  The Fonda Community Center will be a non profit organization that will enhance the lives of the residents of Fonda and the surrounding communities through wellness, fitness, education, recreation, and the arts.  

We, the undersigned, want to save the Fonda Community School building from demolition and have it repurposed into the Fonda Community Center. 

We, the undersigned, plan to support the Fonda Community Center by either attending events, making use of the services it will offer, donating labor, or donating money.  

We, the undersigned, respectfully request that the Fonda City Council and the Newell/Fonda School Board cease all plans to demolish this historic building and instead do everything in their power to assist those who are willing to donate their time and money to help the building find a new life as the Fonda Community Center.
