We can and will fight for our neighborhood. What else is expected to push through without citizen participation?

Duffy Field is welcoming as a play and relaxation space to many different constituents, from children to elders, and provides an essential natural green space in the city. It would be criminal to alter it as proposed.

Stop building on ever piece land. Neighborhood parks, with open space is necessary for children and families to enjoy together, be safe and enjoy being outside. We are New England we need outside time especially in the spring, summer and fall months. Why would you even think of using the land for anything else??

A lot of years and a lot of good times were spent here playing with some of the best friends a kid could grow up with. Enhance Duffy Field, don't destroy it!

We’re raising a family on Richmond Ave. Duffy Field has been the beacon of our neighborhood since moving here in 2008. Please maintain this green space for our children and for Worcester.

Its been my my favorite park for 30yrs and since its also been my kids favorite park. We have so many wonderful memories at Duffy Field and consider #2 park in worcester next to Elm Park. Its always super clean, parks always well maintained and the location is great. Please do not take such a special place away from worcester. Not many parks i can say the same about. God Bless us all Forever...

remember folks, tell everyone you know. One thing is for certain, any city counciler that votes for this is done at the voting booth. Don't bother running again.

This park has been a center of community for generations, bringing the Doherty area together. You want to remove a community hub for schools, kids playing, families, dog walkers, little league, soccer teams, college students playing frisbee and more Beyond community, it totally works against your claimed green act, getting rid of a pete bog, and woods, for a plastic astro turf? This would be damaging in more ways than one, reconsider.

My parents and I used to ride our bikes to Duffy field and then kick around the soccer ball or play wiffle ball in the field.

This park the neighborhood of many people who moved because it has a park for the children to play! Fix the infield for the Burkett leagues it'll get much more play and only cost a mere pittance! Be smart city council!

Never underestimate the importance of green spaces in urban areas — children can play, people can socialize and relax, and communities can come together.
