EA Star Wars Battlefront 2 has so much potential to be a great game.

We all know a company's priority is Profit and Expansion, but consider treating your consumers right as an investment in your own company.

1. Continue to make DLC Free : If you do not, it will divide the community

2. NO MORE MICRO-TRANSACTIONS : This is disrespectful to the people who genuinely invest time in your product. It also puts them at a disadvantage to other players who are addicted to IN GAME purchases. Changing the dynamic and over all quality of the game into a PAY2WIN System.

3. Honestly Listen to your consumers (Obviously not everyone individually for you cannot please everyone equally) Take into consideration your fanbase as a whole without hidden agenda.

4. NO IN GAME PURCHASES ( Unless the purchase has no actual affect on the dynamic of the game ) : Example - Character Skins or weapon colors or something.

**AN OBVIOUS COMPANY RESPONSE** : IF WE MAKE EVERYTHING FREE EXCEPT FOR THE INITIAL COST OF THE GAME, HOW CAN WE MAKE A GOOD GROWTH IN PROFIT?

If you Invest in the consumers : They will invest in you

MAKE A DONATION CENTER

Turns Out, if you provide an HONEST and QUALITY product. People will not only buy it, but many of them will also seek out ways to further invest in the company to help give back to them. Examples of this in action, obviously on a more individual platform basis would be ( KrueTv, Twitch, YouTube, etc. ) You scratch my back, I scratch yours type of system.

  • Not only would this make your product more Honest and respectable, it would put the power in the hands of the PEOPLE or CONSUMER to donate and help the business continue to thrive.
  • The more people you have buying your product, the more of a chance you will have these types of people to take action. If there is only one set price or standard for a product - The more people you will have buying the product

Think of it as an investment not only in the future of your own business, but the future of the GAMING INDUSTRY as a whole. (Which currently, because of the new negative standards, is on downward slope do disaster)

Side note : The future of EA is in the hands of none other than (EA), funny enough. People are fed up with dishonesty and underlying greed involved in the company.

Obviously the decisions that the company makes with their products are solely up to them, but the Gaming Community and Fanbase has spoken. A great example reflecting their greed would be a recent response made on Reddit, which stands currently at -681k downvotes and growing. The largest downvoted comment in Reddit history.

There are some good questions to be answered on both sides, from EA : and the Consumers. EA needs to decide whether or not to make respectable changes that are beneficial to their community and not only to themselves. AND if they do not, are they willing to accept their losses?

As for the consumers not to partake in feeding the dishonesty and greed of their product. Pre-ordering, Micro-transactions, DLC Etc.

May the Force Be With You.
