agriculture is the basis to life and commerce. It allows us to diversify the job field while everyone still eats and thrive. Let's keep it alive

The farm land at Cal Poly is critical to the university and to the future of developing leaders who will work to provide a safe and healthy food source for the world.

This is awful. This takes away a learn by doing experience for the entire college of agriculture.

Save the land for your programs, quit growing the number of students. I honestly think greed has made admin loose track of the purpose of the school. People will always need food!

Not only has Cal Poly been slowly getting rid of the labs in Ag Courses-presumably to become more like a UC- now they are making long term commitments away from AG that are the VERY reason why our good AG kids are going elsewhere! It's a shame that as an alumni I don't want my kids to go to Cal Poly because of their betrayal of the learn by doing philosophy.

I studied abroad here in 2012, I chose this univeristy as it was similar to mine here in Australia. Not long after getting back we cut our agriculture courses and it was a massive mistake. I loved getting out into the fields at Cal Poly, don't ruin this amazing teaching facility and place.

Cal Poly is known for the excellent agriculture programs it offers college students. Please don't do anything to remove the land necessary to run those programs properly.

I attended cal poly as a prevet student and my most memoriable and most educational parts I had at Cal poly. The land they offer their students for agricultural is what makes cal poly unique and makes it stand out for all those who apply. Ripping this land away from the students will cause future applicants to turn away.

I am a Cal Poly Alum. I was a Dairy Science graduate in 1998. I can not believe Cal Poly would betray us in such a manner. You are losing your reputation for 1st class education in the agricultural sciences. Please, reconsider this poor decision.

Don't take away land from Ag and dairy science at Cal Poly! Much land was given as open space and for the Ag school on which it was founded!

Some may not think Ag is "sexy" but Ag is the backbone of the CA economy and we NEED our good Ag schools to have and keep their good Ag land. Build the other buildings somewhere else and benefit by because more challenging building sites = more interesting buildings. Go Cal Poly Ag and Cal Poly Architecture.

This land needs to be utilized for its intended Ag purpose, not a construction site!
