We have recently received news that our funding may cease at the end of this year meaning definite closure of BTE. This will leave hundreds of young people with no place to go for training that suits them. BTE has been running for 14 years and provides a safe and welcoming training/learning environment for a specific group of young people that the education system has forgotten about. There are many young people that will suffer as a result of this and many potential learners who will never have this opportunity if BTE is closed down.
