Abandoned and forgotten, like POW's, when the going got difficult.

Please leave the BOMB in place. We don't need to tear down EVERYTHING in Dallas for new development.

Tearing this down when you have financialy viable alternatives that would allow this valuable piece of history to be restored would be criminal. Save and restore this magnificent structure!

As a 2nd generation Braniff pilot (Dad 1947-1982) and myself (1967-1982), I have many fond memories coming and going through this facility both as a lad eager to follow in my father's footsteps and later having lived the dream. After surviving for so long after our beloved company's demise, it would be a shame to see it go now. Save 7701!!!

MY Mother worked in RES there. I used to ride the crew bus to the terminal and back. I commuted between SAT and DAL for several years and kind of grew up there.
I love that place, Save it.

This facility was my Braniff 'home' from 1967 until August of 1981, at which time I was transferred to DFW til bankruptcy in May 1982. The "Maintenance Base," as we called it, holds more memories than I can count.

As a former crew member based at Love Field (Muse Air 1981-84) and a life-long Dallas resident, I want the building saved and restored. We have enough apartments.
