Fire Stations are important to the community. By closing a fire station in the East End of London which is over populated you are putting people’s lives at risk.

I can't bear to think what would happen if there was a major incident in the East End. How long would it take crews to arrive from other stations, especially as traffic is horrendous in that area

If fire fighters have to travel too far there will be tragic consequences, roads are busier by the day, jammed nose.to tail, emergency vehicles must have difficulties.

Living right round the corner from bow station and seeing how busy the roads get everyday this is just madness. Seconds save lives and they are just throwing that away.
