We, the undersigned call upon Bank of Ireland to reverse its decision to dismember and sell-off its valuable collection of 20th and 21st century art. We believe that the move to sell the collection at this time will fail to realise the financial value of the art and will damage the reputation of Irish art and culture worldwide. We call upon Bank of Ireland to instead make their collection of art available to view by the public as a small gesture of appreciation to the Irish people for the support given to this bank to ensure its survival.
