We, the undesigned, hereby petition the Aspen School District's Board of Education to continue the traditional school year calendar and not to adopt the proposed "Balanced/Alternative" calendar. Further, we urge the BOE to adjust the traditional calendar to allow for a Fall and Spring breaks that better accommodates the needs of the many families involved in our tourist-based economy.
