The volume of support has reached a level that the Board of Education can no longer overlook. I have requested a formal meeting with the district superintendent to present these signatures and discuss the proposed calendar changes.

my kids need their summer break. real summer vacation is part of growing up and they work hard enough during the year.
Living in a resort town makes this calendar change impossible for us. we need to be able to work when the tourists are here.
The board clearly doesnt understand how much summer work means to our economy here. stop the new calendar plan.
LEAVE THE CALENDAR ALONE!! This is what works for our families. Stop trying to fix things that aren't broken.
Adjusting for fall and spring breaks is just common sense. Please listen to the parents on this one.

Our kids get burnt out without a real summer. Keep the traditional schedule.
