The expressed purpose of the park was for recreation. This is a beautiful park with a great playground. Why with so many other schools in the area would you want to replace the park with another school?

Ashbridge Park needs to remain as a park for community recreation and relaxation. This park is loved by all the neighbors and needs to be protected from development.

With urban sprawl upon us we need to protect green space in our township! Parks are one of the important things that make a township more appealing and livable! PLEASE SAVE ASHBRIDGE PARK!!

I am a descendent of the Ashbridge family and as a kid we went every week to see the cows on the farm. I hope it will stay a beautiful park.

Outrageous. Replace the School Board. They have already demonstrated that they cannot be trusted.

Outrageous - why would anyone leave anything to Lower Merion in good faith that it would be so honored?

This Land grab attempt of a beloved public park by the school district is frightening and sad.

LMSD will not get their hands on Ashbridge Park without an epic legal battle. It will make the Barnes fight look like child's play. Shame on them!

It's so disheartening that lawmakers can, in good conscious no less, 'dig' for loopholes in a will where the individual's wishes are crystal clear.
Save Ashbridge and preserve everything we all treasure about living on the lovely main line.

This should NEVER be considered available for anything other than a park. A Township treasure, generously given, to be respected.

We need to honor the wishes of the family that deeded the park to the neighborhood. Keep the park as is.

Another comment!
The corner of Airdale Rd. and Montgomery Avenue is one of the most dangerous intersections for accidents. Winding Airdale Road is not a street you would want your children to walk on. We have already lost one, let’s not lose any more!

After all the energy, funds, and donations, that were raised, spent to restore, save and to make Ashbridge the popular Park it is today, don’t even think of breaking this trust!

I have lived on Airdale Rd for 43 years! Ashbridge Park is now one of our only places of open space left to take a walk!
It had a stream that is now mostly under ground now! They built up the wetlands aside it to offer more dry land for residents. That caused serious water damage to Bryn Mawr College property, just down stream, and to our stream walls and dam. Taking away more water permeable space will cause serious concern more damage to all of us down stream.
