Great idea to keep Annapolis social...and distant!

Annapolis Government Leaders: Please consider creative solutions to keep our local businesses alive. Thank you!

This is the ideal time to experiment with closing Main Street to traffic. With masks and flow up or down the street being one-direction for foot traffic it could be a good solution.

I love this idea and would love to support local restaurants

Great idea. No good reason not to do this.

Great idea, both restaurants AND guests would greatly benefit. After all the time in seclusion it would be emotionally reviving to grab a meal outside

Absolutely this should happen -- hope it gets approved.

I think this would be an excellent idea. Open space, not recycled air.

That would be fabulous, sorry for all the people without their employment. Be safe and healthy

I think we could redirect traffic throughout the heart of Annapolis and open up the streets with restaurant businesses to foot traffic and open air dining only- from ego alley out to the circles - all downtown streets that have concentrations of restaurants. An urban planner could figure out how to make it work

I think this is an excellent idea. It not only helps us to sustain the businesses that make Annapolis a great place to live - it will also add to the charm of our downtown area. WIN-WIN!

I think this is a great idea to keep local businesses/restaurants operating and able to employ their staff. Main Street and lower West St should be able to do this

Please let this event happen! The local businesses need relief.

This will be disaster if they don’t allow this. This virus has taken over our lives, our country and our freedom. I’m all for being safe, but we really have no idea what that means.

This would be amazing and is a great idea. The streets would be open during the morning so delivery trucks can come through and for evening hours closed off.

We have to adapt to what is happening and we have to find a way to move forward. Please let these businesses begin the recovery process
