At this point in time, many students under the age of eighteen living in the city of Chicago are faced with a broad range of challenges and the deprivation of a good quality education happens to be one of them. Closing Amandla Charter School would do a great disservice its pupils and their families, because this academic institution provides not only effective resources needed to instill knowledge in students but valuable social skills as well, which is something that is missing in various schools across the city. Please, Keep Amandla open!

We have been supported Amandla Charter School since its beginnings. We continually receive positive input as to its progress and what the students have accomplished through the years. Not only have the students benefited from this program, but the families have too.
How wonderful to have exemplary teachers and administrative staff to direct and participate in the formation of these students who are eager to learn and are happy to find a place where they are welcome and encouraged. Please keep Amandla open!

I helped volunteer at Amandla and it's a great school. We need to save the school. These kids' education are in our hands. We need to fight and protect their education. Please help.
