SAVE ABERYSTWYTH'S CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU
Aberystwyth’s CAB is suffering a funding crisis and may have to close in the New Year if new money is not found. The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free information and advice, and by influencing policy makers. The Citizens Advice service provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. Our aim is to • To provide the advice people need for the problems they face • To improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives Help fight this closure by signing my online petition so we can save our local CAB office which does such good work in the community helping the most vulnerable deal with their problems. CAB's services are more important than ever before, especially as we are in the depths of the biggest recession in 100 years. More people than ever are going to need the help and support provided by the dedicated staff and volunteers at Aber CAB. We cannot let such a valuable service disappear from Aberystwyth. Support my call for more funding to made available to CAB so that they can continue to provide their services to the people of Aberystwyth and its surrounding areas. This petition will be sent to Ceredigions MP Mark Williams and Ceredigion's Director of Finance on the 13th November.
