Royal Mail is planning to close the Leeds York Road delivery office. Though the company is amalgamating the posties to Seacroft office, this will mean that all those who live in the York Road area will lose the ability to collect packages or make enquiries face-to-face; without having to travel by bus to Seacroft. There is no need to cut this vital service; we must defend it! If this goes through without complaint, then who knows which delivery office will close, or who will be made redundant next?
