It has been brought to my attention, as an active member of the Central Branch YMCA for nearly twenty years, that CO-ED stream/sauna rooms will make myself and other fellow members uncomfortable. The privacy and intimacy that is provided will be lost entirely as a result of the new building project for the Central Branch YMCA, 402 N. Market Street, Wichita, Kansas 67202. Why should we compromise? Do you want a "KidZONE" center at the Central Branch YMCA? We love our children, we care for them deeply; however, the benefits of the Central Branch YMCA is that we can enjoy our time in a primarly adult environment. Each YMCA in Wichita, Kansas and the surrounding areas provides exquisite child safe facilities that members can choose from outside the Central Branch. To the contrary our only option for a primarly adult excerise environment is the Central Branch YMCA- located in Downtown Wichita. Please join me in preserving our local Adult YMCA.
