We Need Your Help to Save That Empty Space!

By signing this petition you are supporting that:

  • That Empty Space is an important part of campus life.
  • The students needs to actively participate in supporting the Friday That Empty Space, and prove it is a popular and active part of the school community.
  • That Empty Space should be focused on quality, small, local acts before bigger national acts.
  • That Empty Space should occur every week in the future, and should budget and fundraise to make this fiscally possible.
  • The Students' Union should look into alternative solutions to keep That Empty Space tradition going. Ie: sponsorship, a cover for non-students, donors/fundraising or grants.
  • In the future, the Students' Union should survey the stakeholders of That Empty Space before making severe changes to programming and structure of the event (note: changes were made by former the executive without an official survey of community members).
You may also write a letter to thatemptyspace@gmail.com, or provide personal comments along with your electronic petition signature.

Thank you and all the best,

Andrea
Former That Empty Space Program Coordinator
