This petition has been created to save the TV Show Raines, which as of April 27th 2007 aired at 8PM. Raines is a wonderful show. Right now it is on the verge of cancellation. This is most likely due to the timeslot in which it has been placed in. Raines has the potential to spread its wings and become another hit for NBC. However this has proved impossible to accomplish due to it\'s timeslot on Fridays. I urge NBC executives to pick the show show up for a second season and to place it in a better suited timeslot. I must remind the executives at NBC that The Office recieved good ratings it\'s first episode, but then viewership went down steadily as the season came to a close much like Raines also. However instead of cancelation the show was picked up for a second season and given more publicity. Not surprising this move made The Office go up in ratings. The same thing could happen with Raines if it is given more of a chance. I urge anyone who watches the show to please sign the petition.
