My prefect was the only reason I got through freshman year without losing my mind. This is a huge mistake.
This is just another example of the college cutting support systems that actually work.
why change what isnt broken? leave the prefects alone.
dont do this. so many first years rely on their prefects for advice and mentorship. bad idea.
Seriously bad move by the admin. Prefects are essential to the freshman experience. Do not get rid of them.

Keep the program!! It helped so much with the transition and honestly peer advisors just arent the same thing.
