Upon hearing the news that after 21 years in the booth, Pat Summerall was forced from his seat next to John Madden, I was shocked. After it finally hit me that perhaps the most prolific sports broadcasting tandum of all time would no longer be calling the game of the week on Sunday afternoons, I became deaply saddened.
