Wonderfull memories of the greek gods up the side in alcoves, dimming tiny stars on the blue ornate ceiling. Movies like Zulu, love and let die, sinbad , charley the lonesome cooler, outlaw joss wales etc and later bands like Genesis, Keep it alive, what a building. Magnificent.

I worked here as an usher during summer and Christmas breaks when I was a student. I love this place - a magnificent space which deserves preservation.

I served part of my apprenticeship as a projectionist at the Vic when TodAo was installed. I'd love to see this beautiful building entertaining again

Considering Unesco have been called in to investigate the mis/ab/ use of Edinburgh's Heritage the Council better get a move on! To many beautiful old buildings have been knocked down in Edinburgh and replaced by monstrosity's.

Hopefully this issue will be solved in favour of the Odeon, not some "plan" to let it deteriorate!

this an iconic building - part of history of not only the South Side but of Edinburgh itself - and everything possible should be done to save it in any way possible. IF the interior is truly getting beyond saving the front facade should be saved - though of course preferable to save all with the necessary being done to restore it to its former glory

This would be great as a roller disco or an old fashioned dance hall, lets bring back something from the good old days please please please, pretty please!!!!!

I worked in the Odeon during holidays between terms when I was a full time student from 1978-1982. I loved the Odeon, Watching films with capacity audiences over I think around 2800 (?). This could be one of Scotland's premier venues. It is a very special space and I wholly support it's restoration as a community venue for the whole city.
