WOOD Radio is already the most popular talk radio station in the Grand Rapids area. Who do they think they are competing against? In its quest for savings and budgets that fit its accountants' view of public service broadcasting, WOOD is about to terminate the best local talk show in the area or anywhere else for that matter. The termination of this show will be a cultural loss of huge proportions and will leave a hole in the soul of thousands of listeners. Not only do Scott Winters and Michelle McCormick deserve to have the show, they deserve sizable raises in compensation for the trouble WOOD has caused them, and for sweetening the time-slot that they have made so popular.
