The club officially adopted the new lyrics and the roar stays for the next season. My hands are shaking as I type this because I truly did not think they would actually listen to us. Keep your eyes on the stadium for the first performance but for now just enjoy …

SIGN THIS PETITION If you think it SHOULD NOT be necessary to lose the famous HULLO HULLO roar, a trademark of the Rangers fans, just because it is, rightly, unacceptable to keep singing about f blood and the Billy Boys SIGN THIS PETITION if you think the song can be renamed the Rangers Boys and new lyrics be written as an alternative to the old song, BOTH defying those who would rather sing about bigotry than the club AND IMPORTANTLY also the critics and enemies of the club who see this bandwagon as an opportunity to see the Rangers fans silenced altogether SIGN THIS PETITION if you think the hullo hullo roar is a vital tool in the Rangers fans armoury, as anthemic and intimidating a cry as any terrace chant, delivered, like no other, by the Rangers fans. SIGN THIS PETITION if you believe that with a concerted publicity campaign by Rangers Football Club, with a fan compeition voting for the best new lyrics, flyering, new words posted on the big screens, posters and adverts, etc.. the new \"Rangers Boys\" song can become established in favour of the old Billy Boys words - a symbolic new club anthem and a sign we have changed but NOT been silenced. SIGN THIS PETITION if you refuse to believe the taunts of Rangers enemies that \"we\'re all bigots\", and that, if an alternative was offered and, importantly, widely endorsed and publicised by the club, a new Rangers boys song, preserving the Hullo Hullo roar, would win over and completely drown out, and eventually silence, the few who wished to stick to their f blood. Singing about f blood etc is wrong BUT we SHOULD NOT lose our famous Hullo Hullo roar.

The emails I receive lately are exhausting and often filled with anger from people who refuse to understand what we are trying to achieve here. I keep working to push this proposal forward because losing our identity is not an option even when the silence from those in charge is deafening.

The roar is the best part of the match day atmosphere. It gets the stadium shaking. Why lose that just because of some lyrics? Sort it out.

Too much PC nonsense lately. Let us keep our tradition and just change the bad parts. WATP.

THE ROAR STAYS. The club needs to get behind us and show everyone we can evolve without losing our identity.

About time we moved on. Keep the noise and lose the controversy it makes sense for everyone.

Keep the roar but dump the old words. We can have a new song that actually celebrates the team instead of giving everyone an excuse to label us.

Just change the words already. Getting sick of the bad press every single time we play.
