To the UVa Community: This petition is aimed at preserving, and also extending, funding for Multicultural Education (EDLF 5000) under the instruction of Robert Covert. Recently, the University has reviewed this course and holds some reservations in regards to its availability for future semester. However, we are asking former and prospective students of the course to organize in showing the University just how critical a role this course plays in our community. Diversity has and remains a very big matter on grounds, and it’s important we keep this class available so that open discussions on the subject continue to occur. Because of this, we ask for your support in keeping EDLF 5000 available. Thank you.
