Save Barrabool Motocross Track!
The Save Barrabool campaign is all about trying to save McAdam Park, Barrabool. To do this we need the support of everyone in the community. Located near Geelong in Victoria, Australia, the Sporting Motor Cycle Club has been operating from McAdam Park since 1963 and the complex is renowned as one of Australia’s premier motocross venues. We are very fortunate as we are not getting kicked out by neighbours or our local council. We’re currently in the process of raising the money to buy the McAdam Park land that is home to our track and as part of that process we need our local council to approve rezoning of the land so it ensures ongoing motorsport usage. S.M.C.C. has applied for a planning amendment and the process is now well underway. Rezoning will open the doors to all kinds of financial support from government, business and investors. Our local Members of Parliament and council are fully behind us in our quest, by signing this petition you can help us pave the way for our application to go through smoothly. We’re a long way down the road in our quest to save McAdam Park and things are looking very positive, the council rezoning of the 300 acre property is just one more step we need to get through to achieve our ultimate goal of securing McAdam Park as a Mecca for all off road motorcycling activities! Signing this petition WILL make a difference, maybe even the difference between us securing or losing McAdam Park! So please take just a moment and do your bit to help save McAdam Park! Thankyou, Sporting Motor Cycle Club
