We, the undersigned, demand that Mr. Leon and Don Valley Storage Inc. renew the lease for the Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club and Davenport-Perth Neighbourbood Centre at 21 Randolph Avenue. These organizations are the only safe places for kids in our neighbourhood and they have no where else to go. Our kids should not be sacrificed for your bottom line. Do the right thing and let our kids stay!
Ten years ago our neighbourhood needed something better for our children. Fortunately, due to a development decision, Don Valley Storage Inc. was required by law to provide free community space to a non-profit at 21 Randolph Avenue. The Perth-Randolph Centre was created for our kids and it has become a vital part of our community, providing a safe space for over 300 kids.
Now their lease has expired and the owner, Mr. George Leon, has decided he doesn
The scale of this response has reached the local news desk and I am currently coordinating an interview for this week. I have begun drafting a formal letter to Mr. Leon citing these petition results to demonstrate community resolve regarding the lease renewal.

This place is the heart of the neighborhood. My boys go there every single day after school and honestly I dont know what we would do without it.
