I'm opposed to any ordinance that dictates design guidelines and is open to subjective interpretation. Z'ville's charm comes from it's collection of all the past residential styles. It/we should be allowed to continue that evolution with today's and tomorrow's styles. My property, my taste, my right; not the right of those afraid of change or the government.

This policy doesn’t seem capable of providing an equitable and fair way to help homeowners considering the wide range of style, age and character of existing houses in either boundary. This policy doesn’t appear to be a cooperative or collaborative effort for integrity of this area considering the future investments that homeowners are currently making. It feels like there is a lack of distinction between mutual goals for a thriving and diverse future and protection for uniquenss in this area. This one size fits all approach is an over reach that needs considerably more review before such as imposition is made on homeowners who have so much to lift up this area.
