I don't think defunding is the answer. There do need to be changes made in Every PD in this Country but this is not the answer. We need Departments to get rid of ALL who have repeats. There is NEVER A REASON TO HOLD A KNEE TO THE NECK OF A MAN WHO IS CUFFED, BEING HELD DOWN BY THE LEGS, BACK AND THEN THIS 8 min. 46sec. holding his knee in this man's neck until he was DEAD IN THE STREET! So many other cases coming to the forefront. This is MUCH MORE than any of us know.
I know that it would be different if it were reversed! WHY WHY WHY? We need Police Departments that do not COVER UP FOR BAD COPS! I pray that they ALL take a REAL LOOK and REORGANIZE so that Our Officers are SAFE and EVERY CITIZEN is also SAFE!

Don't believe defunding is the answer- Training, Reform, perhaps Procedure reassessment - but cutting funds of those who put their lives at risk daily is not the answer. Feel defunding would be more harm than good. Its interesting that folks are quick to jump on the 1st bandaid they see thinking that will solve the problem. Police reduction, Funding - not sure that is it.

Please don't defund the police department crime is already bad enough.
The "car-hopping", people getting assaulted on the streets at night and business being broken into would be the ONLY increase we would see with less cops.
