Save these gardens! Shame on you city administrators! Stop the political games, listen to the people. Thank you very much!

Save the Yanonali community gardens. We need them! Don't reduce them in size.

The garden plots are a VERY valuable resource. Removing them is NOT a sound idea, thanks

Please consider not impacting and impacting this community garden with such a heavy hand. They are an important aspect of our community. Leave the plots in their current size and minimally impact their organization.

The park is already large enough for families and friends to gather and play. A friend and I sit in the park nearly daily, and there are always just a 'handful' of others coming to use the park. What is the point in taking away a huge portion of garden spaces to enlarge a park that already has more than enough area for recreation? The residents who garden there will be seriously economically deprived by dramatically shrinking the spaces they have to grow their produce - by far, the healthiest food in their diet.

Please keep the garden from shrinking. Not only is it a valuable resource for gardening it adds a human deterrent for the questionable element that gathers there. Those people seem unsafe for children. And parks are for children.

Please save the garden. We need to keep our valued community areas and this is a prime example of what Santa Barbara is and should continue to be. Community.

The garden is BY FAR the most active section of the park. I have lived on the East side for nearly all of my 30 + years in this town. Never mind all the wonderful things that community gardens provide in terms of education, recreation, nutrition, and mental health, the reality of that particular park is that the garden iOS the most consistently frequented area of the entire acreage!

I am writing in full support of the EASTSIDE park community garden plots. Please do not change, alter, or decrease the size of these areas and garden boxes. For the sake of all who benefit, I implore you to forego this action and listen to the community and your base constituents. Thank you for your time, interest, and support.
